Murphy NC – my hometown & the inspiration for my ‘Murdering the Playwright’ books

Thomas Wolfe was wrong! You can go back home again!  I’m so excited.

My (real) “Murdering Oscar Wilde” book launch party will be this Wednesday Nov. 20 at 5:30 -7:30 at the Curiosity Shop Bookstore in Murphy NC, my home town.

This wonderful mountain community was the inspiration for the book and is home of the real real ShoeBooties’ restaurant.

My launch party will have live music from local guitarist Hondo as well as actors from the Licklog Players (who bear a striking resemblance to the Pitchkettle Players in the book) be on hand in full costume to act out skits from Oscar Wilde’s play, ‘The Importance of Being Earnest” and will also do readings from my book!

Of course I will have plenty of autographed books available, but if you can’t drop by then you can always get a signed copy from me here: Get “Murdering Oscar Wilde”

I invite you to come by and join the fun! > Curisity Shop Bookstore, 46 Valley River Ave. Murphy NC
